Feadship's Savannah

Feadship's Savannah: Leading the Evolution of Superyachts with Hybrid Technology

In the spotlight is Savannah, a groundbreaking superyacht blending eco-friendly and luxurious propulsion. Inspired by the 2010 Feadship Future Concept Breathe, this vessel showcases a dynamic hull shape and an efficient Wärtsilä main engine, replacing two diesel motors. With a central propeller shaft and three gensets, Savannah sets a new standard for efficiency and performance.
A standout feature of Savannah is its large contra-rotating sternthruster, enhancing maneuverability in marinas. The propulsion system offers five modes, ensuring fuel efficiency and reliability. Ted McCumber, the owner’s project manager, praises Feadship’s innovative combination of technologies, setting Savannah apart in the yachting world.
Savannah’s exterior profile, a collaboration between CG Design and Feadship, features a “floating superstructure” with glass and composite panels, creating a visually striking effect. The yacht’s deck areas offer spacious and versatile layouts, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces for a unique al fresco experience.
The Sea Foam metallic green exterior, a first for superyachts, complements the elegant design. Interior highlights include an underwater lounge and cinema, offering guests a captivating view of marine life. Accommodations feature four guest suites, a VIP stateroom, and an owner’s stateroom, ensuring a luxurious experience on board.
Director Henk de Vries highlights Savannah’s fuel efficiency, offering a 30% savings compared to previous vessels. The collaboration with equipment manufacturers has elevated Savannah’s innovation and comfort. This exceptional superyacht is available for occasional chartering, promising a one-of-a-kind luxury experience on the open seas.
