The facility offers personalized services that utilize ancient healing and nurturing techniques, with the goal of rejuvenating the senses and bringing the guest into alignment with his or her spiritual self.
Just as the resort combines thoughtful décor with the beauty of its setting, the Soori Spa draws on the bounty of nature. All products used are free from synthetic preservatives and additives. Regardless of the treatments chosen, the guest will emerge with a new sense of balance and calm.
A wide range of Asian and Western massage techniques are available, depending on the needs of the client:
- Balinese massage, an ancient healing therapy that relieves muscle tension by combining skin rolling and long, therapeutic strokes;
- Thai massage, a full body massage given clothed, which uses pressure points to relieve muscle tension and unblock energy flow;
- Four hands massage, in which two therapists synchronize their movements to create a unique feeling of harmony and pleasure;
- Abdominal chi massage, using gentle pressure and the power of your breath to promote circulation and relieve stress;
- Foot reflexology: Utilizing pressure points on the feet that correspond to every part of the body, the therapist will improve energy flow and facilitate inner healing.
Pre-natal massage is also available, along with traditional techniques such as warm stone therapy. The spa offers a variety of facials, in addition to manicures, pedicures, waxing, daily meditation classes and private yoga sessions.
Given Soori Bali’s close proximity to the Indian Ocean, Soori Spa places importance on hydrotherapy: the use of water to relieve physical blockages and promote well-being. A scrub and wrap are followed by a powerful Vichy shower. Six showerheads stimulate circulation and replenish the skin, aided by alternating cold and hot water applications.
