Watches and Wonders Sanya
Launched at the start of October during Golden Week, Watches and Wonders Sanya is already delivering excellent results. The 14 exhibiting Maisons at the Sanya International Duty-Free Shopping Complex are preparing to welcome the many visitors.
With this second edition held at the CDF Mall, Watches and Wonders Sanya is definitely confirming its place as a major event for fine watchmaking. This seaside resort, known as the Chinese Hawaii, provides a stunning setting for the event that is drawing high numbers of visitors. Designed as an experiential venue, Watches and Wonders Sanya targets a wide audience – collectors, watch lovers, but also those simply interested in fine watches or even novices.
Held over three months, Watches and Wonders Sanya will have the opportunity to celebrate the ‘Double 11′, better known as Singles’ Day – since the ‘1’ symbolizes a single person. It’s the chance to happily rejoice in your celibacy or to break it by declaring your love for someone.
To join in the country’s excitement as it prepares to celebrate Singles’ Day, the exhibiting Maisons have new surprises and exclusivities in store. In its boutique inside the Mall, Cartier will continue to actively promote its iconic collections, Panthère and Pasha, demonstrating its watchmaking heritage, know-how and creativity.
In its pop-up pavilion, where the horses of a Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD roar, Roger Dubuis will unveil a limited edition of Excalibur Spider Huracan. Fitted with the Maison’s own skeleton flying tourbillon, the watch has a 45mm case in Composite Ceramic Fiber, a high-technology, exclusive to the Maison, which it borrowed from the world of space rockets. Piaget will introduce the new Polo Black.
