Cadillac Expands LYRIQ Lineup with Tech and Sport Trims for 2024

Cadillac is introducing new options and enhancements to its LYRIQ lineup for the 2024 model year. The luxury electric vehicle will now be available in Tech and Sport trims, offering customers more choices. Both trims will be offered in rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) models.
In terms of exterior options, Cadillac is introducing five new colors for the LYRIQ: Argent Silver Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat (extra charge), Celestial Metallic (extra charge), Nimbus Metallic (extra charge), and Emerald Lake Metallic (extra charge). Additionally, the Luxury and Sport trims will now offer a Black Painted Roof option, although it is not available with the Noir trim.
The Tech trim will feature a 20-inch Split 6-spoke wheel design, while the Sport trim will offer a 20-inch Dynamic 12-spoke wheel design for models 1SF and 1SJ. The top-of-the-line Sport trim (model 1SK) will come with a 22-inch Dynamic split-spoke Reverse Rim wheel design, featuring a Midnight finish and paired with low-profile tires.
Interior upgrades include the availability of the Nappa Leather Package in Juniper and Oxford Stone for both the Luxury and Sport trims. The LYRIQ will also come equipped with a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability, allowing passengers to stay connected on the go. Tri-zone automatic climate control and heated rear outboard seating positions will be available on the Luxury and Sport trims. Additionally, the Luxury and Sport trims will offer a panoramic power-opening sunroof with a power sunshade.
In terms of safety features, the 2024 LYRIQ will now include Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking in the Driver Assist Package. This feature will be standard on the Luxury and Sport trims and available on the Tech trim. The Luxury and Sport trims will also come equipped with the Adaptive Headlight System, enhancing visibility during nighttime driving. A Security System will be available on both the Luxury and Sport trims.
The 2024 LYRIQ will offer impressive driving ranges. The RWD model is estimated to have a range of 314 miles (505 km) on a full charge, while the AWD model is estimated to have a range of 307 miles (494 km) on a full charge.
The LYRIQ is built on GM’s Ultium EV Platform and features a 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack. It boasts an illuminating front grille and emblem on all models, with choreographed lighting on the Luxury and Sport trims. The vehicle also comes with power-presenting door handles, with illuminated handles on the Luxury and Sport trims. A standard fixed-glass roof with a power interior shade adds to the luxurious feel of the LYRIQ.
Inside the LYRIQ, drivers will be greeted by a stunning 33-inch-diagonal advanced LED display, capable of emitting over one billion colors. An exclusive AKG Studio 19-speaker audio system by Cadillac will be available on the Luxury and Sport trims. The LYRIQ will also feature a Google built-in infotainment experience, providing seamless connectivity and access to various services. For added convenience, the LYRIQ will offer Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology, allowing for a more relaxed driving experience.
With its spacious interior, the LYRIQ offers a maximum cargo volume of 60.8 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down.
Charging capabilities for the LYRIQ include Level 2 (AC) charge rates of up to 19.2 kW, which can add up to 51 miles of range per hour of charge. The LYRIQ also supports DC fast charging for public charging rates of up to 190 kW, enabling an estimated 77 miles of range in about 10 minutes.
The 2024 LYRIQ is set to impress with its electric drive capabilities. The RWD model will deliver 340 horsepower (255 kW), while the AWD model will offer an impressive 500 horsepower (373 kW). Both models will come standard with Regen on Demand and One-Pedal Driving features.
Overall, the 2024 LYRIQ combines luxury, performance, and advanced technology to provide an exceptional electric driving experience.
