Five Luxury Trends You Need to Know About This Fall

Summer may be on its last legs, but Fall ushers in an entirely new realm of possibilities in the world of luxury. Many fashion enthusiasts actually rejoice as temperatures cool, as they can finally start to express their sense of style with more layers and more creative freedom. And if the chilly air is not to your liking, you can always book a vacation to a tropical, lavish destination to pursue the endless summer. Even the most mundane tasks in Autumn can be augmented by taking advantage of the newest and most exciting luxury trends. Here are the trends you need to be aware of as we head into the Fall of 2021:

1. The Audi Skysphere

The Audi Skysphere has taken the luxury auto crowd by storm, and this concept car looks incredibly futuristic. The first in an all-new family of roadsters, the Skysphere is a fully electric two-door convertible that promises to “redefine progressive luxury.” The automobile features a seamless digital ecosystem with an AI “chauffeur” that can drive you around town autonomously. When you activate this self-driving mode, the steering wheel and pedals retract and become hidden, giving you more space to relax. The Skysphere made its official debut in August of 2021 at California’s Pebble Beach golf course.

2. Nonstop Private Jets

If you’re intent on traveling to your luxurious getaway in the most luxurious way possible, a private jet is the only option. While this mode of air transport certainly has its fair share of advantages, it also suffers from a few limitations. Private jets often have smaller fuel tanks and engines, requiring frequent stops. However, new advances in private jet tech have made these inconveniences a thing of the past.

The aptly named Bombardier Global 5550 gives travelers the freedom to fly up to 5,900 nautical miles before stopping, allowing for nonstop flights from Los Angeles to pretty much anywhere on the planet – even Moscow. This is made possible by Rolls-Royce Pearl engines that are capable of reaching Mach 0.90.

3. Diamond-Encrusted Face Masks

Masks were once seen as a basic necessity, but today they have been embraced as just another way to express your fashion sense. If you’re striving for the ultimate in face mask luxury, consider opting for a diamond-encrusted version. One year ago, a Los Angeles-based businessman spent $1.5 million on a diamond-encrusted face mask designed by an Israeli jeweler. This mask contains 250 grams of pure 18K gold and 3,608 natural black and white diamonds.

4. Apres-Ski Luxury

Being out in the chilly Autumn weather isn’t that bad. After all, it gives you an excuse to show off a more extensive range of fashion items. “Apres-ski” and “slope-style” are some of the more prominent fashion slogans this fall as the top luxury brands try to emulate the unique aesthetic of mountain resorts. Skiwear is going to be a major trend this year, and you can expect to see plenty of puffer suits and furry snow boots. Models were even seen wearing ski goggles on the runway, just in case you didn’t quite get the picture.

5. Designer Dog Collars

What could be better than walking your dog on a cool, crisp Autumn afternoon amidst the fallen leaves of red and yellow? Pets have become important companions in the era of Covid-19, and now you can celebrate your furry friends with the perfect luxury gift: a designer dog collar. Fendi now has its own Pet Travel Line that includes leather tags with their signature “FF” logo motif. Brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Versace, and many others also offer their own designer dog collars.
