Hollywood A-List Eddie Redmayne, Zoë Kravitz and Zhou Dongy stars in OMEGA’s New Aqua Terra Shades Collection

OMEGA’s release of its new Aqua Terra Shades Collection was nothing less than a star-studded affair as Eddie Redmayne, Zoë Kravitz, and Zhou Dongyu joined the legendary maker in feting its latest work of horological art.
And while brand ambassadors themselves are not a new concept, OMEGA’s latest creations put an interesting spin on the narrative. Unlike other campaigns, which seek to advertise a singular theme using stars as showcases to convey a broader brand message, OMEGA’s Aqua Terra Shades Collection seeks to embody the unique spirit of the individual wearer. Demonstrating this unique spirit with a series of shades created for each ambassador, OMEGA once again demonstrates the timelessness of its pieces as well as its forward-thinking embrace of the power of the individual and the desire for authenticity in modern luxury lifestyles.
Star of “Big Little Lies” and a part of the “Fantastic Beasts” franchise alongside Redmayne, Kravitz is not new to the world of OMEGA and should be a familiar face for longtime fans of the brand. An ambassador for OMEGA since 2022, Zoë Kravitz is joined by Eddie Redmayne and Zhou Dongyu in a campaign dedicated to the trio called “Every Shade of You.” Acclaimed star of Chinese film, Zhou Dongyu also joined OMEGA in 2022. An icon of Chinese cinema and the star of productions ranging from crime to romance, Zhou Dongyu is the recipient of three of the most important awards a Chinese actress can receive: Best Actress at the 53rd Golden Horse Awards in 2016 for “Soul Mate,” Best Actress for “Better Days” at the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards, and at 33rd Golden Rooster Awards.
The campaign seeks to encapsulate each star’s unique identity within the prism of a bespoke shade of color. Towards this purpose, each campaign showpiece highlights the ambassador, the shade unique to their personality, and imagery associated with that personality disposition. It works on multiple levels and, like time itself, is multifaceted in its approach to the artistry of OMEGA watches themselves as well as the lifestyle associated with the brand.
Shell Pink and Sandstone are two such options but OMEGA is quick to point out that the campaign really demonstrates a starting point for the wearers’ journey, not a final destination. In an emblematic display of the optionality embedded within the Aqua Terra Shades Collection itself, the ambassadors are bedecked in black, minimizing the focus on their individual presence, while a spectrum of colors is displayed in the surrounding environment in an homage to both the bespoke nature of the product as well as the invisible yet all-encompassing nature of time itself.
