Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Showcases Contemporary Commissions at Festival of Speed

Rolls-Royce Spectre: A Groundbreaking Electric Super Coupé
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars made a historic announcement in 2021, revealing its commitment to electric technology with the introduction of Spectre, an all-electric super coupé. By the end of 2030, the entire Rolls-Royce portfolio will be fully electric. Spectre has undergone an extensive testing program, covering 2.5 million kilometers, and was unveiled to the world last October. The response from global opinion leaders has been overwhelmingly positive, and customer deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter of 2023.
For the first time ever, Rolls-Royce Spectre will be showcased at this year’s Festival of Speed. The car features a two-tone Chartreuse and Black Diamond exterior, exuding modern luxury. It is equipped with twenty-three-inch wheels, a first for a two-door coupé in almost a century. The interior appointments match the exterior hue, creating a serene and calming atmosphere.
Rolls-Royce Phantom: The Epitome of Luxury
Phantom Extended, the pinnacle of luxury, will take center stage at the Festival of Speed. With its opulent interior suite, majestic design, and endless possibilities for personalization, Phantom sets the standard for luxury. The inspiration for this year’s commission comes from the world of yachting, a popular pastime among Rolls-Royce’s esteemed clientele. The car features a Submariner Blue exterior, reminiscent of the deep hues of the ocean. The nautical theme continues inside the cabin, with Navy accents and a Selby Grey rear interior. The Gallery, a unique feature in Phantom, allows patrons to showcase their favorite artwork. For this commission, an embroidered gallery inspired by yacht rigging has been created. Rolls-Royce also presents a bespoke luggage collection in Navy and White, perfectly complementing the nautical theme.
Rolls-Royce Cullinan: A Contemporary Expression of Luxury
Taking inspiration from the world of pop art, Rolls-Royce has created a unique expression of the Cullinan for this year’s Festival. The car features a Gunmetal exterior with a double Coachline and Coachline Motif in Phoenix Red and Serenity Green. The interior is the true highlight, with a striking geometric Red pattern throughout, showcasing the marque’s bespoke capabilities. Red brake callipers complete the bold and luxurious exterior.
Rolls-Royce Ghost: A Stylish and Graceful Expression
The Rolls-Royce Ghost, launched in 2020, is the latest iteration of the brand’s most successful product. For the Festival of Speed, a stylish expression of the Ghost has been crafted. Presented in Iced Arctic White, the car exudes luxury and grace. The interior features Black and Iceland Moss appointments, creating a vibrant aesthetic, with Mandarin seat piping adding a splash of color.
In addition to the showcased models, a Rolls-Royce Ghost in Salamanca Blue has been selected as the Course Car, and a Cullinan in Dark Emerald will serve as the Safety Car.
